Rick Ross Admits To Being A Corrections Officer

The sexiness that is Rick Ross finally admits to being a corrections officer. A few years back nemesis 50 cent outed the “gangsta” rapper for lying about his past and wanting to have a tougher appeal. Well, finally Rick Ross has decided to fess up on his correctional past.

He admits he began working as a corrections officer when his best-friend was sentenced to 10 years for trafficking cocaine and heroin. “This was my best friend, who I ate peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches with, and pork and beans with, my buddy, my partner, my number-one dude. Suddenly I’m talking to him over federal phone calls. Hearing the way it was building, I knew I couldn’t take nothing for granted.

“My homey’s father was a huge influence on my life, too . . . He was the one who was like, ‘Yo, go get a job somewhere, man. Go be a fireman. Or go be a f–king corrections officer. Just go sit down somewhere.”

For more on what Rick Ross had to say about his health scare earlier in the year (he suffered two seizures), his thoughts on the controversy surrounding Chick-Fil-A, and being an avid pot smoker head over to Rolling Stone.

The magazine hits news stands Friday, August 17th.
