Miley Cyrus, 19, and her ‘Hunger Games’ boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, 22, are engaged! The actor reportedly popped the question on May 31st with a 3.5-carat diamond ring by jeweler Neil Lane.

The news was confirmed to PEOPLE by a rep on behalf of the singer.

The couple met and began dating three years ago while filming ‘The Last Sing’ back in 2009. Although they had a brief break up back in August of 2010  it didn’t take long for the two to reconcile.

“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus, 19, tells PEOPLE.

No wedding date has been set , at the moment, but the couple will remain living together in Los Angeles.

Now here’s the ring!

The ring is made of 18-karat gold, speckled with intricate diamond floral motifs while the 3.5 carat stone was hand cut around 1880 or 1890 according to Neil Lane.
