Jay Z Makes History At Carnegie Hall

Jay Z made history in New York City, last night, as the first rapper to headline a concert in Carnegie Hall. The concert was held to benefit the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. He brought along Alicia Keys and one time nemesis Nas who performed with the rapper as well.

He performed ‘Glory’ for the first time. The song he dedicated to his new born daughter, who makes an appearance. Her cries can be heard at the end of the song. He also performed a number of hits, including, ’99 Problems’, ‘My Name Is Hov’ and ‘Public Service announcement’.
