Heidi Klum and Seal renewed their vows at a friend’s beach house in Malibu on May 9. The couple had originally planned to hold the ceremony in Mexico, at the same resort where they were married in 2005, as they have done every year since then, but they changed their plans because of the swine flu scare.
According to a witness, the theme for Saturday’s party was “white trash”. The Project Runway host, 35, wore her hair in cornrows and the Kiss From a Rose singer, 46, wore a mullet wig and an American flag jacket. The ceremony was presided over by a preacher dressed as Elvis. Debra Messing and Matthew Perry were among the 30 guests.
The couple, who are expecting a baby girl in the fall, were married in May 2005. Together, they have two sons – Henry Günther, 3, and Johan Riley, 2 – and raise daughter Leni, 5, from Klum’s prior relationship with Flavio Briatore.
